NY WOODBURY — The Town Board accepted special district assessment rolls and scheduled a special meeting for October 7 on refuse service. Following a public hearing on the Highland Lake Estates Sewer District, the board unanimously approved the rolls with no changes; resident Beverly Silvera had raised concerns about properties being used commercially while paying uniform rates, and Councilmember Vernick Alvarez said the board is investigating. The board also unanimously approved Abstract 18 for $214,118.35 in vouchers and a 2026 budget modification reallocating $5,000 within library line items.
Refuse bids will be addressed at the October 7 special meeting at 5:30 p.m. at Woodbury Community Center.
